       1/2 cup          Margarine
     1 1/2 cup          Sugar
         2              Eggs
     1 3/4 cup          Flour
     1 1/4 tsp          Baking soda
         1 tsp          Salt
       1/3 cup          Cocoa
         1 cup          Milk
         1 tsp          Vanilla

[Preparation]
Preheat oven to 350 F.  Grease and flour 2 8" pans

Cream marg and sugar.  Add eggs and beat til fluffy. Sift dry
ingredients together and add alternately with milk and vanilla. Bake
350 in greased 8x8 pans for 35 minutes.  Ice with white vanilla icing.
