USE THE LEAST AMOUNT OF LIQUID LISTED IN RECIPE. Select Medium Crust setting and press Start. Observe the dough. After 5 to 10 minutes, if the dough appears dry and stiff or if your machine sounds as if it is straining to knead, add more liquid one tablespoon at a time until dough forms a smooth ball that is slightly tacky to the touch. After baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan and let cool. Personal Note: This baked into a tall golden brown loaf that came up over the top of the bread pan. (Did not hit the cover). Crisp crust and a soft interior. Nice loaf of bread.
